          a. Give a list of the books of the Bible

          b. What groupings are present there?

          c. Which of the types would be most instructive for how we should live?

Ex. Psalm 137:9 versus Matthew 5

Ex. Proverbs 27:15–16 and Proverbs 21:19 versus Ephesians 5:25

      2. Notice the overlap of the structure of the Old Testament and the New

      3. Consider the closing of the Canon.  Why might that be a good idea?  What problems might creep in if the Canon were opened?

      • 1/10/2018

Note: Substitute present for this lesson

Create a timeline on when the 66 books of the Bible where written and by whom.  You will need to do research to get this.  Where there are discrepancies, state which you feel is more likely and why. This should be done independently, but some collaboration may be used.
